This is a very tender, touching movie! Rebekah and her mother come upon Jesus as He is teaching. Rebekah asks 'who is that man?' Rebekah's mother, Sarah, is worrisome as she has heard many rumors. Rebekah cannot stop thinking about Him. When she finds out that her friend is going to see Jesus she asks to come along. But he leaves her behind. Rebekah seeks Jesus on her own and meets him as he is blessing the children. He calls her by name to come to him. Then she meets him next at the marketplace where she implores him to come home with her for her grandfather has told her a very heart-felt story and she wants to take Jesus to meet him. When Rebekah hears that the Savior has been killed she refuses to speak. Her grandfather knows just the cure for Rebekah...what happens next will bring tears to your eyes.
A PHENOMENAL movie!
PERFECT for the upcoming Easter Season.
Gather your family around, share this DVD, and know that He also knows Your name.
This is an absolutely beautiful story of a young girl named Rebekah. One day she is out with her mother and they see Jesus preaching, and after she is fascinated by Him and His messages. Her mother, Sarah, is skeptical, and doesn't want Rebekah to wonder from her responsibilities. Sarah's father is blind and needs help. Rebekah is given the task to go to the market for fish, and sees Jesus there. She then brings him home, and one simple act changes things for everyone, especially Sarah. There is also a tender story about Ruben, the grandfather, as well.
My family and I loved this video! I watched it three times, and each time the tears came. My youngest daughter especially loved it, and it was tender to watch her reactions to Jesus and Rebekah. The scenery is lovely and perfectly depicts the time period. The story is sweet, and Rebekah was fun to watch. This movie will be a perfect addition to your home for the Easter holiday, and can be enjoyed throughout the year.
